Talk:Jesse Jackson

Campaign platform

This section is unsourced. I really doubt his campaign platforms for 1984 & 1988 were identical. My recollection is reading in the nineties that Jackson was just coming to support reparations movement. Its my suspicion the Campaign platform section is part made up, I'm not going to ask for anybody to trust my memory, just that the section be sourced or removed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.71.85.238 (talk • contribs) 17:02, March 4, 2010

This page states rhat Jesse Jackson was a shadow senator for D.C. from 91-97. The page for shadow senators contradicts this showing someone else in that position. Thank you. 76.95.49.101 (talk) 18:38, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The table at Shadow congressperson § District of Columbia officeholders shows Jesse Jackson as the Class 2 shadow senator from 1991 – 1997. This article and cited sources support this, as do others. If there's something specific to be changed, please feel free to reopen this request with further details. ‑‑ElHef (Meep?) 20:34, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Ordained Minister

There is no evidence that Jesse Jackson has ever been an Ordained Minister. There is no source in this article that shows he was ever ordained in 1968, rather just shows a Master of Divinity Degree in 2000. 209.53.245.126 (talk) 22:21, 23 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

1986 Visit to Africa not captured, is there any tangible reason for that, or it is listed and not just seen?
