Joshua Conerly Jr. (born November 5, 2003) is an American football offensive tackle for the Oregon Ducks. He won the 2021 Anthony Muñoz Award as the best lineman in high school football.
Early life
Conerly was born on November 5, 2003.[1] He attended Rainier Beach High School in Seattle, Washington where he played football as an offensive lineman and was ranked a five-star recruit and one of the top recruits nationally.[2][3] He also played basketball.[4] He won four varsity letters with the football team and after being named all-league as a junior, received a number of honors as a senior including invites to the Polynesian Bowl and All-American Bowl, as well as MaxPreps All-American, first-team all-state, Washington Offensive Lineman of the Year honors.[5] Ranked one of the top-35 players in the nation, as well as the consensus best recruit in the state, he committed to play college football for the Oregon Ducks.[5][6][7]
College career
Conerly appeared in 13 games as a true freshman in 2022.[8] He earned a starting role as a sophomore in 2023.[9][10] Entering the 2024 season, CBS Sports ranked him as one of the top-20 prospects for the 2025 NFL draft.[11]
