English: My grandfather was the first owner of this Peugeot 106 and drove it until he passed away twelve years later. I have good memories of this car. He used to wash his car when he visited us, since he wasn't able to do it in front of his own house. Born in Rotterdam, he drove me to all the special places in the harbour, where I could take pictures for a project when I was still on elementary school. I remember the squabbling between my grandparents about his driving behaviour, the Classic FM music, the candies that were handed out by my granny... Good old days. The Peugeot 106 is still on the road. The turquoise colour is rather unusual, but makes it still look fresh. |
