The scope of this task force covers:
- The article Northwestern Hawaiian Islands.
- All ten of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands: French Frigate Shoals, Gardner Pinnacles, Kure Atoll, Laysan, Lisianski Island, Maro Reef, Midway Atoll, Necker Island, Nihoa, Pearl and Hermes Atoll.
- The article Papahānaumokuākea Marine National Monument
- Maintain the List of species of the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands
- The articles Max Schlemmer and Tanager Expedition.

Images
Compared to finding textual info, finding photos for these articles is a breeze. Since most of the people that go to the NWHI are government-employed, the photos that they take are free-for-use. Just search google, and as long as it is clear that a USFWS or NOAA, or perhaps USGS employee took the photo, you can upload it.
Additionally, Kim and Forest Starr have released all of their photos under the CC-Att. 3.0 license.
