Welcome to my talk page! Hoping you are well! Please note that all talks here are to follow are to follow the guidelines pointed about by {{Talk header}} above or I will not respond to your inquiry, and it will receive an automatic removal from my talk page. In addition to the header above, please ensure that you title your new section appropriately. Do not edit my page to add and / or remove what you feel you should; if such is done, I will automatically revert the edit(s) without warning — no questions or hesitations about it. If I begin a discussion on your talk page, please do not continue it on this one; keep it to one talk page, to avoid confusion, etc. Any personal attacks and/or insults thrown at me or any other editor are automatically deleted, and, if need be, will receive a report to the appropriate noticeboard. Please remember to follow good practice and avoid unacceptable behaviour. Thank you! Cassette tapesDo you have some problem with cassette tapes as a format and you are removing them in discographies? They were obviously released in the late 90s to early 2000s, for you to completely remove them. The main reason why I only posted discogs links in the edit summary, instead of the article space, was because the other formats such as Cd and digital download didn't have a reference next to them in those discographies. Cheryl (singer)Hi there, I hope you're well and I hope I'm not breaking any protocol by messaging you here – it's my first time doing anything like this. Regarding your reversion of a comma I added after "London" in the Cheryl (singer) article: I added it to make "... Barnet, north west London, ...", two locations named in succession, in a manner similar to one of the examples on the MOS:GEOCOMMA page ("... Chattanooga, Tennesse, ...") and which I've seen in other Wikipedia articles. I have to say the only thing that gave me a brief pause for thought before making that insertion was the "north west" bit, but your comment didn't mention that or the town of Barnet. You instead stated "this is simply London", having emphasised the necessity of "England" for such a comma. I'm not sure what I did wrong. It would be nice to hear back from you regarding this, but understand if you're busy. All the best. Frank Thistle (talk) 20:18, 20 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Mayhem
Don't bother, let the RFP come through and then we will tackle these IP and that user who is editing while logged out. —IB [ Poke ] 16:44, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

- That user is using a sockpuppet called Vampireinthecorner, are you able to report it? I am on my phone right now. —IB [ Poke ] 18:03, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @IndianBio: I thought that might have been them; I will look into gathering some "diffs", and getting them reported. Pathetic behaviour (as I believe all socks are). livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:04, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

- @IndianBio: They must be! I am building the report now, although, the "Frederik" account was registered prior to "Vampire"; will let you know when it's launched. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:26, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- If you follow the block timings, all are dangerously close ranging from 16:45 to 17:09 UTC, with the same edit warring fixated on "7th" vs "8th" designation of Mayhem. Quack quack quack? —IB [ Poke ] 18:32, 27 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@IndianBio: Do you recall the name of the repeated sock who mass-changes genres on music articles, and cannot accept they've been blocked from editing from Wikipedia? I think they're now at "Abracadabra" (Lady Gaga song) as "Johnzelvis9". livelikemusic (TALK!) 16:41, 3 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Opinion for discussion at Triumph Tour
Hello, I am messaging you on your talk page to let you know that there is a discussion currently going at Talk:Triumph Tour regarding reliable sources, and it would be nice to see if you could look into the discussion and share your opinion on the matter. The discussion is called Discussion on sources and set list. Thanks. HorrorLover555 (talk) 17:46, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @HorrorLover555: Hi. I will take a look a bit later, and see if I can include my input for you. livelikemusic (TALK!) 18:06, 30 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Alright, thank you. :) HorrorLover555 (talk) 18:20, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I respectfully disagree with the complete removal of my contribution. I put significant effort into compiling well-sourced reviews that add value to the article, ensuring each one was properly referenced. If there was an issue with citation format or repetitive phrasing, I believe a better approach would have been to adjust or discuss how to integrate the content rather than deleting it entirely. I am open to collaborating to ensure the information aligns with the article’s style, but I would appreciate a more constructive approach in the future. - If you read the edit summary it is being fixed; however, it's being done by scratch to avoid visual confusion. If you would just hold-off for a moment while things are formatted, you would have seen the edits were going to be placed back. It does take more than five minutes to fix everything. livelikemusic (TALK!) 01:17, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- I appreciate your clarification. I understand that formatting takes time, and I didn’t mean to rush the process. It just seemed like all my contributions were being removed, which was frustrating after putting in the effort to properly reference everything. I’ll wait to see the final edits—thank you for working on it CHr0m4tiko0 (talk) 01:40, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- It's just about how things are worded, following the manual of style (of which there are many) and upholding WP:CITEVAR. livelikemusic (TALK!) 01:52, 4 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Your revert on list of General Hospital cast members
Hello, I was writing to see your reasoning for reverting my edit. According to this section, All names should be referred to as credited, or by common name supported by a reliable source.
While the Chris L. McKenna one might be premature (even though he was vocally credited that way today), Michael E. Knight has been credited as Michael Knight for years. Regards, Heart (talk) 03:56, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Sources pertaining to McKenna joining the cast credit him as his common-name "Chris McKenna," and sources pertaining to Knight's tenure (as recent as February 3) in the role credit him as "Michael E. Knight," also his common-name. This is why they remain credited said way. livelikemusic (TALK!)
- multiple sources use the name of Alexa Havins, not Alexa Havins Bruening, should we change her name then? Heart (talk) 04:10, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- No need to ping me in response via my talk page, thanks. Secondly, as announced via her first interview pertaining to joining as Lulu Spencer, she is credited as "Alexa Havins Bruening," which is why she is listed in such a way. Ultimately, once ABC updates its website (Lord knows when), that's when it would possibly changed. The end credits of General Hospital are not reliable, given their numerous inconsistencies and misspellings of their own cast/characters. Not to mention, per the citation included, she is listed as "Alexa Havins Bruening". livelikemusic (TALK!) 04:15, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- Please do ping me because I do not receive notifications for your talk page, thanks. While I still respectfully disagree, I will not pursue it any longer. I also strongly disagree with your argument that the end credits are not reliable. I look forward to continue to collaborate and making these soap opera pages better. Regards, Heart (talk) 04:41, 5 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Jessica Simpson
Now @Livelikemusic:, this is a bit of a concern with what you quoted MOS with saying this in your edit summary: "MOS states: "Live and compilation albums, EPs, singles, etc. should generally not be included." Should generally ≠ no" I'm aware the term "should generally not" doesn't mean an absolute "no," but it strongly suggests that something is typically not recommended or advised. It's more of a guideline indicating that in most cases, the action should be avoided, but it leaves room for exceptions in certain circumstances. I don't see the point in any certain circumstances here due to the fact she has a discography page. Your reasoning now raises concern as it's coming off as it's alright to include all her remix albums and compilation albums etc, if that's the case then shall I add them all? Pillowdelight (talk) 02:12, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @Pillowdelight: No need to ping me on my own talk page, thanks. The annoying alert the site sends out is enough. The point is, in your edit summary, you stated "Do not include EP’s per MOS", when in fact, that is not what the MOS states. And even per your own response here, it leaves room for exceptions. And that's not at all what I am suggesting, or what the edit itself suggests. Including one EP — her first long type release since Happy Christmas (2010) — to be a negative. livelikemusic (TALK!) 02:34, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- I usually always ping the user in the very first message — you'd be surprised how many editors won't respond back even if I do or don't. But per my own edit summary and MOS the term "should generally not" suggests leaning more towards "no" then "yes" hence why I worded it that way. Now for your exception, I do not believe just because she hasn't released full length music in fifteen years and now all of a sudden announces an EP gives it the okay to include. Especially since she's more known for her albums. Typically, in most cases from what I've seen on here that once artists start releasing studio albums, the EP's get removed from their pages, as studio albums are generally more popular and important rather than EP's as many artists who release EP's don’t even have a page created for them due to usually no refs, relevance, significance etc - not saying that's the case here. Also, the EP is titled as "part 1", I wouldn't be surprised if she’s releasing multiple EP's which will be combined to create a "full length studio album" as many artists are doing that nowadays. If that eventually happens I definitely would recommend to remove it in the future. Pillowdelight (talk) 03:00, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- No, I do my best to respond to proper inquiries, such as yours. Not an asshole here (nor am I suggesting those who ignore your messages are assholes; more so speaking for me, myself and I only). Of course, if a combined release does come out — although, there's nothing at present time suggesting that — the combined release would replace the independent EP releases. Although, I would also argue if one EP does have significant coverage, it could remain. But, at the present time, its inclusion does not harm the section/article itself. livelikemusic (TALK!) 03:18, 22 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Tension Tour
Hi! I would love to see the changes to the setlist and fan requests for each show listed in this setlist section, to match the other Kylie tour pages. Is this something you plan on doing? Thanks so much! Cchhrrjj (talk) 01:33, 25 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
List of Beyond the Gates characters
I came across your sandbox for the characters list and I noticed it is in the same format as the character lists for the UK soaps. I've always preferred that particular format as the lists for the American soaps have gotten extremely messy and out of hand. If you publish that list, do you think it will get pushback? Nk3play2 my buzz 02:25, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
- @Nk3play2: It is a much nicer format; I think it would get pushback but, at the same time, it is a much cleaner representation of formats. It's kind of why I've held off on publishing. List of Beyond the Gates cast members would certainly fit the American format of cast member pages, but I also believe List of Beyond the Gates characters would prevent problem pages like list of The Bold and the Beautiful characters from existing, and would make it a more managable type of page, while also adhering to several manual of style formats from the jumpstart. It's a new soap, and we have the chance of things being clean and formatted properly from the start. livelikemusic (TALK!) 02:45, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
