Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]This is an editnotice template for articles or talk pages related to generative artificial intelligence in order to deter users from mistakenly entering prompts on the page.
Note: You must be an administrator, page mover, or template editor in order to create and edit an editnotice. Otherwise, you may ask a user with these rights or make an edit request using {{Edit template-protected}}.
Usage
All parameters are optional. The name of the chatbot is automatically detected from the article title. The URL is pulled from Wikidata, via property P856.

Customization
To bypass the default article title, append | followed by a custom name. To bypass the URL listed at Wikidata, append |url= followed by a custom URL.
If the article is a broad-concept article rather than about a particular product, append |generic=yes to change the heading to:
This is a Wikipedia talk page. It is not a chatbot. It will not respond to questions.
If the product is not publicly available, append |public=no to hide the URL.
