Nauru was part of the Gilbert Islands and Ocean island occupation zones. The title of the the Japanese governor of the islands said commander of the Gilbert, ocean and Nauru Kanto7 (talk) 05:03, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

First of all Ocean Island was the headquarters of Gilbert and Ellice Islands colony. No distinction between the two. Nauru did not… this mention is not specific to this article, there is a specific Japanese occupation of Nauru to indicate that.-Arorae (talk) 06:39, 5 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
