edit summaries, please

Hi. Wikipedia is a collaborative project and you help us all by using edit summaries. Otherwise, an edit like this could look to an over-zealous countervandal like unexplained blanking by a new account. Your editing is constructive and it would be great if you'd remember that other editors are actively watching you. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:21, 6 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Again, welcome! PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•A•C) This message was left at 14:10, 7 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Menslage

Hello NGC 54, The old mayor Dirk Kopmeyer (CDU) ended his time in 2010. Since that time was (2010–2011) Max Eckelt (CDU) and (2011–2020) Jürgen Kruse (SPD) mayor of Menslage. Jürgen Kruse resigned last month. Doris Schmidt was elected by the local council as the new mayor. The only source I can offer is in German (Paywall: Neue Osnabrücker Zeitung): https://www.noz.de/lokales/samtgemeinde-artland/artikel/2083258/doris-schmidt-ist-neue-buergermeisterin-von-menslage

best regards from Germany --Ramsch (talk) 17:44, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ramsch: In this case, you can introduce the information in the article if you cite this source (see Help:Footnotes). --NGC 54 (talk | contribs) 18:16, 21 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Custom signature fix needed

Hi there! You have a custom signature set in your account preferences. A change to Wikipedia's software has made your current custom signature incompatible with the software.

The problem: Your signature contains a syntax error, specifically formatting tags that are in the wrong order.

The solutions: You can reset your signature to the default, or you can fix your signature.

Solution 1: Reset your signature to the default:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Uncheck the box (☑︎→☐) that says "Treat the above as wiki markup."
 3. Remove anything in the Signature: text box.
 4. Click the blue "Save" button at the bottom of the page. (The red "Restore all default settings" button will reset all of your preference settings, not just the signature.)
Solution 2: Fix your custom signature:
 1. Find the signature section in the first tab of Special:Preferences.
 2. Change the signature as shown below, or make other edits to make the signature appear how you want it to appear.
 3. Click Save to update to your newly fixed signature.

Current signature:
--<span style="color: #43b0ef;">NGC 54</span> (<span style="color: #7cb8f4;">talk</span> | <span style="color: #7cb8f4;">contribs</span>)

Fixed signature:
--<span style="color: #43b0ef;">NGC 54</span> (<span style="color: #7cb8f4;">talk</span> | <span style="color: #7cb8f4;">contribs</span>)

More information is available at Wikipedia:Signatures#Customizing how everyone sees your signature. If you have followed these instructions and still want help, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Signatures. Thanks. – Jonesey95 (talk) 01:48, 20 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Buna ziua !
