TFA?

I'm thinking of running Space Invaders at TFA on January 26; does that work for you? This was one of your featured article nominations, years ago. - Dank (push to talk) 02:15, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Sorry for not responding sooner. I rarely come on here anymore since I retired from editing. Regarding having Space Invaders as the TFA, I'm not sure whether its the best idea because I've noticed the quality fluctuate over the years. Right now, it seems it's been cleaned up some, but it still has some issues: excess quoting, single sentence paragraphs, some layout changes might help, etc.)
That being said, however... As I am retired, I'll defer to VG Project members. They've always done a great job protecting TFAs and keeping up with articles. Thanks for reaching out and for considering Space Invaders for TFA. (Guyinblack25 talk 16:38, 24 January 2024 (UTC))[reply]
Thank you today for the article, introduced (in 2008): "This is one of the VG Project's Top priority articles. Since this year is its 30th anniversary, I figured it deserved a proper article."! - Thanks for commenting now! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:19, 26 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Release dates

While I know you know what you're doing, that one threw me for a loop on P.N.03: shouldn't that be in both the body and the infobox? Always figured information in there should generally be covered in the body too. Just asking in case I tackle a game article again anytime soon. Kung Fu Man (talk) 15:36, 2 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I'll defer to you as I'm not really active and am not familiar with current editing standards. It was an awkward orphan sentence that I wasn't sure what to do with. My first instinct was to move into the second paragraph. But I wasn't sure how to reword it, so I took the most simple course of action. Happy to hear alternatives from someone with better experience. (Guyinblack25 talk 00:39, 4 October 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Hi there

It's been so long. How are you doing? I've been editing several articles and now I'm busy with both Kiruko and the KOF article you edited. Thanks. A fellow user also started making FA Resident Evil characters which sure is impressive but I'll just try with GA since I'm not English native. I tried making an article for Soma Cruz from Castlevania but it was sadly merged. Any news about your edits? Merry Christmas. Tintor2 (talk) 19:09, 11 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good to run into you again. Congratulations on your continued efforts to improve content. Keep up the good work. I'm still retired, so I don't have any real goals or plans. I've been lurking around here and there doing minor edits to help where I can. Merry Christmas to you too. (Guyinblack25 talk 05:04, 13 December 2024 (UTC))[reply]

Potential GA article?

I've been working on Ryo Sakazaki to see if it can become GA after toning down the reception to the most notable parts and balancing real world info with inuniverse. I requested a copyedit but they say it's mostly fine and Kazama also revised it. Could you give the prose a look? It's my biggest weak point.Tintor2 (talk) 18:24, 21 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Sure. I'll try to take a look next week. (Guyinblack25 talk 20:14, 22 February 2025 (UTC))[reply]
@Tintor2: I've read the article and have ideas. Some are simple grammar fixes/rewordings and the rest are questions about the content to better understand the original meaning. How do you want the feedback? I can make the simple fixes to the article unless you'd like a full breakdown like a peer review. If I just make the edits, do you prefer explicit comments for each edit (easier to track and revert) or is consolidating them in single edits ok?. (Guyinblack25 talk 14:46, 26 February 2025 (UTC))[reply]
What you find easier to do. A peer review would take some pointless time from you so consolidating them might seem better. Thanks Tintor2 (talk) 14:56, 26 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
