DescriptionKensington Railway Rock Creek bridge-southern abutment 01.jpg
English: The Chevy Chase Lake & Kensington Railway (later called the Kensington Railway) was a streetcar line built in 1895 between Chevy Chase Lake and the town of Kensington in Montgomery County, Maryland. The single-track line crossed Rock Creek on a trestle bridge supported by two stone abutments. This photo shows the southern abutment in a view looking northwest. The bridge carrying Kensington Parkway is visible in the background.
